Ebt, at what point does the installation crash?

By: Eyal Bentamar (ebt) 2007-04-15 23:53:28

The system is an Intel E6300 processor on a INtel mb chipset 946.
The system hangs when install reboots, with a message uncompressing kernel.
When forced to one processor and reboted it continues normaly.

try adding 'acpi=ht' to the kernel line of grub

suspending until reporter provides feedback on acpi
