Description: | Calling from a SIP user (or an IAX user I would assume) to an IAX user doesn't work. Watching the console, asterisk is trying to call it through IAX/<peer> instead of IAX2/<peer>. [Feb 27 16:31:36] WARNING[2896]: app_dial.c:1081 dial_exec_full: Unable to create channel of type 'IAX' (cause 66 - Channel not implemented) | ||
Comments: | By: Brandon Kruse (bkruse) 2007-02-27 20:19:55.000-0600 Yes, this is a problem, thank you for reporting this. I was giong to report this, I saw a similar error with IAXY devices. Thanks! By: Justin Farrelly (vercet) 2007-03-02 13:13:00.000-0600 I can confirm this behavior - we have some Cisco SIP phones and some IAX phones - and the IAX phones can not be called from the SIP phones. By: Jason Parker (jparker) 2007-03-02 14:18:23.000-0600 This issue has already been fixed. Please upgrade to the latest packaged version of asterisk. |
