Description:	app_voicemail with IMAP storage always seems to send two email messages for each voicemail message left. voicemail.conf: [default] 6000 => 6000,Example Mailbox,,,|imapuser=user@domain.tld|imappassword=password We have tried multiple different IMAP servers (courier, dovecot, zimbra, exchange) so it seems this is not a server specific situation.

In this later case, it worked correctly. I will probably troubleshoot this one next week. By: jerjer (jerjer) 2007-03-22 01:00:14 I will need to fire up 1.4.2 on a box.  Give me another couple days and I will let you know By: Edwin horton (edhorton) 2007-04-11 07:46:08 I have been trying to get 1.4.2 to work with IMAP storage with poor results.  To this issue, I tried two different Dovecot IMAP servers, one on the Asterisk box using MBOX storage format and a second on a remote box, same subnet, set up for virtual users and maildir format.  In the case of the server on the same box, I do get two messages everytime.  On the case of the remote box, only one, every time  I did not log any strange entries in the maillog when I received two messages.  Asterisk trunk did the same.  I tried uw-tc versions 2006e and 2006g.  No difference.  Now the bad news, for me at least.  Whenever I tried to save a greeting in the "mailbox options", I get an asterisk segfault crash when it tries to save the message.  The message remains in the local voicemail directory and is played if a new voicemail is left.  Also, I get no MWI indications even though voicemailmain correctly reports the correct number of messages.  Has anyone had success with 1.4.2 and IMAP storage? I've tried with Asterisk 1.4.4 on different MUAs, namely: Courier-Imap Cyrus Dovecot Between each setup I formatted the drive. All MUAs were installed locally on the Asterisk PBX (i.e. not on a remote machine on the network). The only instance in which I did not receive duplicate messages was on the last setup, namely the Dovecot one. I can imagine that maybe this is the case because this is the only case in which I have not installed a MTA on the Dovecot setup. However I have only one format selected for the voicemail message (gsm) [This is something I have to explain in another bug report], but there are two attachments (TWO gsm files).
