Description: | It would be very convenient to have an option to allow callers to transfer to an external pre-programmed number, not just another extension. It would also be very, very beneficial to have an option to set 'transfer' to use the Flash-Hook-Transfer option instead of just bridging two lines. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** Most of the VOIP-based PBX systems I've worked on have an easy-to-use feature which lets an incoming caller transfer themselves to another number. Primary case for this is the "Hello, I'm away from my desk, press 2 to be transferred to my cell phone" scenario. For PRI and DS users, a transfer taking up two lines (one incoming/one outgoing) isn't a big deal, but for analog users with limited PSTN lines who use the Flash-Hook-Transfer function, this would require manual setup every time. These are features that a very good number of SOHO and SMB clients of mine who are looking at a higher functionality PBX system will see and have weigh in AsteriskNow's favour. Thanks guys, I really appreciate your consideration. | ||
