Description:I have 2 valid and new g729 codec registered on my server. When I try to simply Playback a file with wav or gsm extension with a g729 code the asterisk core dumps .
I'm pretty sure that I've installed the codecs correctly. But i'm not sure where is the problem.

Please post a backtrace (see doc/backtrace.txt for instructions) so we can determine where the issue is happening. Thanks.

So, you have 2 licenses, cool.

Does it crash with just 1 channel up?

also, did you get the right g729 codec?

I have 2 licenses and there is no channel when I try to call and test the system..
and I think I got the right g729... I got the 32bit/i686 which is exactly my linux  system.. the uname -r told me that is i686...

Hey,

This problem IS being worked on from what I can undestand.

for now, just hang tight and try possible different configurations for the time being(which I do not think will help, personally)

Thanks for your support and time and for logging this issue

What distribution are you running?

Since there has been no response I'm closing this out. If it is still an issue please contact Digium Technical Support as it seems to be an issue with the codec itself. Thanks.
