Description:An SQLite3 based CDR Backend module for Asterisk; based on cdr_sqlite.c written by Holger Schurig

****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ******

I think it would be gift for all those who have switched over sqlite3 to build an use an SQLite3 CDR Backend and, or for all those people who don't want in intall sqlite 1 and, or 2 versions.

The code and, or whole patch is submitted for public herein under same terms and, or conditions and license which is applicable to Asterisk itself.

Hope this would be as useful to all other users too as it is for me.

Thanks,

Could you please get a disclaimer on file (see bottom of http://bugs.digium.com/main_page.php) and confirm with a note here when done?

I think, I already did it some time back while submitting some patches for astcc and zaptel repositories; plz find enclosed herewith a disclaimer again.

afaik, alamantia is working on consolidating the SQLite 1/2/3 support in 6754. Did you have a chance to look at the code in the branch mentioned there?

yes,
there is a branch at this location
http://svn.digium.com/view/asterisk/team/anthonyl/sqlite-support/

which supports sqlite, sqlite2 and sqlite3... it is still in the testing phase, and open to discussion if there is a problem with it's implementation please feel free to bring it up. and we can make changes there.

Unfortunately, this module has not been merged because another module, cdr_sqlite3_custom has been merged instead.  I would encourage you to try out that module to make sure that it fits your needs, as well.

Thank you very much for your contribution!
