Description: | [I'm not sure if this is an AsteriskNOW problem or a GUI problem -- please reassign the category as needed] With a fresh install of AsteriskNOW, I can't get dialtones on my FXS ports. Steps: 1) Install from ISO 2) Start browser, point to Web UI 3) Add a user, configuring that user's "Analog Phone" as one of the available analog lines. I have a Digium TDM400 installed, with 2 FXO modules and 2 FXS modules No dialtone (on either line). I restarted asterisk and still no dialtone. This worked on previous beta versions of AsteriskNOW with the identical test box and hardware config; I was able to get a dialtone and dial between extensions. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** AsteriskNOW build (Version 1.4.0-beta2-rc4) Lines from /var/log/asterisk/messages after a restart of the server: [Dec 21 12:07:20] WARNING[2509] translate.c: plc_samples 180 format 6 [Dec 21 12:07:20] WARNING[2509] chan_zap.c: Unable to specify channel 1: No such device or address [Dec 21 12:07:20] ERROR[2509] chan_zap.c: Unable to open channel 1: No such device or address here = 0, tmp->channel = 1, channel = 1 [Dec 21 12:07:20] ERROR[2509] chan_zap.c: Unable to register channel '1,2' | ||
Comments: | By: James Lyons (james) 2006-12-21 18:59:10.000-0600 This is fixed. This was a problem with the zaptel init script executing zapscan before asterisk is started. |
