This is pretty obvious.  If you have any more information that may be helpful to make this actually happen, then feel free to post it.  Otherwise, there is no reason to keep this open.

This should be kept open so we have a trackable list of open issues and bugs in a single place.

Lack of IE support is a major issue.

Fair enough.  As much as I don't want to admit it, IE support is important.  :)

No need to be private

If we're leaving this open, I'm listing opera here to close it out as an individual report.

Pari says the Opera issue should be separate.

Pari told me the week before last I was in town that he believed we already supported Opera.

Yeah .. some of the recent commits caused opera to not work properly. opera used to work fine till a few commits back.

I'm looking into this.

Ok ..
The GUI should now be working in IE (as of rev 330).
I know a couple of existing issues (I'm working on them), but most of the GUI should work fine in IE. The GUI still shows an alert while using IE, and it will be removed only after all the IE issues are resolved.

This ticket is being closed as the GUI now _works_ with IE
and if you see specific errors while using IE - please report them as separate individual bug reports.

Coming to safari - at this point we cannot afford to spend the limited resources/time we have on a browser that is used by very very very few people.
If you are on a mac - we recommend using firefox or camino. I donot know whether there is an opera for mac, but if such thing exists you can also give it a try.

thanks
Pari
