Now provider is blank. Is this the expected behavior?

Yes .. this is expected behaviour ..
My apologies for not making it clear before.
As The "provider" field is used to just select the
option from the list of providers select box.
Which in this case we are not selecting any (hence blank).
Alternatively We can add a default provider entry for "custom Voip Provider" in providers.conf. Thos would make the custom voip provider appear in
the list of voip providers, which would only confuse the users more.
So I thought just leaving the field blank is the best solution for this situation.
