Description:When provisioning SIP providers, the UI should help the user choose the closest (e.g. ping time, # of hops) server, if more than one are available.

The user would be entering the provider with which they have an account.

They would have to make the choice (based on cost, etc) on which provider to use.

I'd respectfully say that you misunderstood the feature when you closed this out.

The GUI should help the user choose the closest server for a given provider, when multiple servers are available.

Use case:
- User chooses "Broadvoice" as a provider

- Broadvoice has 10 SIP servers around the country

- The GUI helps the user choose the "closest" Broadvoice server based on ping times

sounds like a good idea, but seems like this is outside of GUI-interface "responsibility" strictly as a graphical configuration helper tool.

Agreed.  Perhaps we can revisit this in the future.
