For AsteriskNOW build 1.4.0-0.21-2, this splash/image is not visible on the GRUB bootloader screen.  This issue needs to be reopened until resolved.

To be clear: this is about the bootloader screen post-install.  After installing AsteirskNOW, the GRUB/bootloader screen should display an Digium/Asterisk logo.

This was half-way working as there is a line in grub.conf with the path to the spalsh, it lacked 'splashimage='

this is fixed and will be in beta2-rc4

Unfortunately it appears as tho somethings not right. I've got an entry in grub.conf for splashimage and everything *appears* correct. I don't know what's the problem.

Does your kernel have splash support?

By: James Lyons (james) 2007-01-22 18:03:03.000-0600

need the following in order to implement:

Grub Splash needs:
splash support in anaconda (which is due in rpl2 08/2007)

Bootsplash needs:
support in the kernel for bootsplash
add lines in anaconda for mkinitrd

until rpl2
