Description:When a user records his voicemail intro prompts, they are not entered into the database with a msgnum of -1 as they were before.  Instead they remain in the users /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/context/mailbox directory.  This seems to have come about after the patch resulting from 8016 bug concerning not storing voicemails after a review.  I have reproduced this in 1.2.12 as well as trunk.  I am using ODBC static for the voicemail, sip and iax config.  ODBC realtime for extensions_table.  Also, ODBC for CDR.  Everything else works perfectly in this arangement.

what about 1.2.13?

By: Edwin horton (edhorton) 2006-12-02 10:16:12.000-0600

1.2.13 does not have this problem, but the older problem returned in 1.2.13 such that if while leaving a voicemail you review a voicemail (review=on), it is not put in the database.  Just hanging up is OK.  I turn off the review option, and if I just hangup after leaving a message, all is well.  If I hit # and receive "thank-you", then the message is not place in the database.  This was mentioned in 8016.  The previos patched fixed the earlier problem, but may have caused this one.

Patch in 8016 was committed to 1.2 svn.  Can you test the latest svn 1.2?

"Fixed" in svn 1.4 and svn trunk revisions 48248 and 48249.

Please post any additional findings to 8016.
