Description: | I'm getting the Following SIP Packets From: 3000<sip:3523029577@10.10.10.10>;tag=.... Where 3000 is the extension 3523029577 is the caller ID of in the incoming Call 10.10.10.10 is obvisously the Asterisk IP Resulting in Failed to authenticate user Error Should it not be reversed From: 3523029577<sip:3000@10.10.10.10>;tag=..... ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** I have this both with incoming calls from VoIP Provider and from CG-410 FXO gateway when Caller Id is enabled if caller id is disabled then it works fine with From: 3000<sip:3000@10.10.10.10>;tag=..... Asterisk Version 1.2.10 (Astlinux 0.4.3) Couldn't select the correct version below | ||
Comments: | By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2006-11-03 12:26:11.000-0600 This is not a bug, but a flaw in the way authentication works. What you'll need to do is setup peer entries with the IP address and insecure=very so that authentication occurs via IP address instead of username based.
