Description:When a call enter the queue, agents phones ring but when the caller is listening the periodic annoncement then the agent phone stop to ring until the annoncement is done.

****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ******

I think that the correct behavior would be that agents phones continu to ring even if the caller is listening to the annoncement. If one agent answer the call, the playback should be stopped and the call bridged.

I'm using Asterisk 1.2.10 not 1.2.12.1 but the it's not listed in the version drop box

1.2.10 is not listed in the drop-down box, because you have to report bugs with the latest release only, which is currently 1.2.13 as per bug guidelines.

This is "known behavior" in existing version of app_queue. We don't fork off a background process to try and connect agents so if periodic-announce is playing, that's what we're doing.

You might want to try autofill with the 1.4 betas. While this doesn't correct the behavior you're complaining about, it does do a better job of trying to get waiting callers to available agents.
