Description: | Hi, it was nice if asterisk had the feature to do real ISDN switching on b/d-channel level. Dynamic, call-by-call real b-channel switching between any and all ISDN ports. Dynamic, call-by-call real b-channel routing by dialed digits/prefixes. Like it's done by "real" telco switches. Best regards, Silke | ||
Comments: | By: Russell Bryant (russell) 2006-10-01 10:24:11 This is obviously not a bug report, so it is not appropriate for the bug tracker. By: silke (silke) 2006-10-01 10:34:10 YES, and this is exactly why I posted it in the category FEATURE REQUESTS. By: Serge Vecher (serge-v) 2006-10-02 09:39:57 Silke: this category of the bug-tracker will soon be deprecated, most likely, as feature requests are no longer accepted via the bug-tracker. Currently, there are three major ways how the feature requests turn into code. 1) code-it-yourself 2) mail the asterisk-dev list to see if any developer is working on this feature and perhaps could be looking for some testers. 3) If you have any funds available, please post a bounty for this feature on wiki at voip-info.org. 4) If, as a result of above steps, you have a disclaimed patch for latest trunk (new features don't go into release branches), please ask a bug-marshall or developer on #asterisk-bugs IRC channel or asterisk-dev mailing list to reopen this issue and attach the patch for review. |
