Description: | Here's link to problem description: http://forums.digium.com/posting.php?mode=reply&t=9845 DTMF for SIP calls works fine for various IVR scripts I've written using Waitexten application. I have ethereal traces from telco showing we receive RFC 2833 correctly. SIP callers to VoicemailMain or Meetme consistently have DTMF failures. Asterisk console shows less than 50% correct digit recognition, but not complete failure. When I put in username 12345, password 12345, the log shows username 2 password 5. Same calls in via TDM trunks work correctly. Could this be issue with reliance on TDM drivers in zaptel for Meetme and VoicemailMain? I'm not a developer. I'm using: Asterisk 1.2.12.1 (it was still a problem in Asterisk 1.2.7.1) Zaptel 1.2.9.1 (it was still a problem in older versions too) hardware is TDM04B from wildcountry, don't remember revision (but it was latest one as of June 2006) I will experiment with using these apps on a box with ztdummy instead of wctdm and report back the results. | ||
Comments: | By: Serge Vecher (serge-v) 2006-09-28 09:58:33 1.2 branch has known DTMF issues which were addressed in 1.4, which is in beta-stage right now... Could you please test 1.4-beta2 to see if you still have issues there? By: jmls (jmls) 2006-11-01 12:23:04.000-0600 skeagy, were you able to test the 1.4 branch ? Thanks By: Scott Keagy (skeagy) 2006-11-02 00:36:59.000-0600 I've downloaded 1.4beta3 tarball, going to apply in the next day or so on a test machine and can then report back findings within a week. By: Serge Vecher (serge-v) 2006-11-14 10:59:40.000-0600 a week is up. By: Jason Parker (jparker) 2006-12-04 12:47:32.000-0600 No response from reporter. Please contact a bug marshal on IRC in the channel #asterisk-bugs if this needs to be reopened. |
