Description:I'm trying to use the zapata XXXXprefix settings in order to change the caller ID from local extension number say 200 to somethings like +632889(200) but regardless of what dialplan and prefix settings I try the caller ID remains the same, simply 200. Did I misunderstood the feature? Is it suppose the change the caller id or not? And is there any explanation on how to use this feature besides the usual zapata info found at voip-info? As far as I understood the whole thing, the prefix would be added to the callerid number or stripped off? Well perhaps this more a documentation problem and its simply not clear how to use this feature.

You are misunderstanding the purpose of this feature.  Please pursue further information in the proper user support areas such as the asterisk-users mailing list or #asterisk on IRC.  If you are using Digium hardware, feel free to contact technical support.
