Description:Hi i think i came across a bug in the working of an agent in asterisk and am not really sure.
I attached the Asterisk Console File. i was trying to accomplish Warm transfers to the Agents. I logged in the agents with Agent Login as i do not want the phones to ring. So i logged the agent and then i was able to send the agent and the customer who called in to the queue to a meet me room. i also get one more user to the meet me room who will be a third party customer using the Manager API Originate. Now i have them in the conference and everything is fine. Next, i made the agent leave the conference room to attend the calls on the queue. so i kicked him out of the conference in mute so that he is back in answering the calls. the asterisk console shows that he is fine in answering the calls again.

now we have the problems rolling in. I can't hangup the Agent SIP channel any more and the queue freezes and now an incoming call comes into the queue, it just takes over the channel and i am unable to hangup the zap channel either. Please refer to the ASTERISK CONSOLE FILE.

The Events in Asterisk File Contains the events generated in asterisk when i send the agent, customer and the third party to the Meet me room.

Also are the events when the agents is sent out of the meet me room to make himself available for the subsequent calls from the queue.

I will also check if this bug is recurring in Asterisk 1.2.10 this week as i saw there are some good number of bug fixes in Asterisk 1.2.10. i am not sure if this bug is addressed.

The Bug is recurring in 1.2.10 as well. I just tried it on asterisk 1.2.10 with the same set up i had on 1.2.6 and i end up in the same situation. Soft hangups on Zap channels and SIP channels does not work from the CLI. Also i would like to mention that the music on hold is not heard any more by the agent or the new people calling in to the queue when the agent leaves the meet me room for receiving the calls. I am not sure if this can be related, but this is an observation i had in my Test Bed. One more Important thing is that when customers call into this queue they take up the zap channels and since they do not hear even music on hold and hangup the calls, the zap channel having that call dooes not hangup in asterisk even though the customer in reality had hungup. Please post your comments as i really don't understand why asterisk is behaving like that.

no reply from the reporter to request for debugging information. If you are still able to reproduce the problem with the latest release ( and able to provide debugging information as requested, please feel free to reopen the issue.
