Description:The cause "Non-selected user clearing" with value 26 is currently neither defined nor used. This should be added and e.g. app_dial should set this to hangupcause for all dialed peers which were dialed, but did not get the call, because another peer got the call (hanguptree()).
According to some ISDN spec (I don't know which), this 'cause' signales the called party on hangup that another device got the call. This is used to avoid adding this call to the phones call-list when another one took it.
The channel drivers then can see if this hangupcause can be used with their tech. At least with ISDN it makes sense.

armin: thanks for filing the bug, but the bug tracker is not the best tool for feature requests without patches. I suggest the following:
1) please find a specific reference for those ISDN specs.
2) mail the asterisk-dev list mentioning those specifications and this bug #.
3) Also, if you have any funds available, please post a bounty for this feature on wiki at voip-info.org.
4) If, as a result of above steps, you have a disclaimed patch for latest trunk (new features don't go into release brances), please ask a bug-marshall or developer on #asterisk-bugs IRC channel or asterisk-dev mailing list to reopen this issue and attach the patch for review.

Thanks!
