Long fixed in 7023. Please always try the latest vesion of Asterisk stable before reporting an issue, or, at least review the ChangeLog. Thanks.

Bug 7023 says that this problem was reported in 1.2.7, and later on says it was fixed in '1.2'. I'm using 1.2.7.1, and therefore would assume that it should be working in 1.2.7.1.

1.2 is a "stable branch". 1.2.7.1 is a branch release. If the problem is in a branch release and fixed in a stable branch, the fix does not go back to the original reported release, but to the next branch release, which was 1.2.8 and currently 1.2.9.1. Please do not reopen the bugs to asks banal questions.

I do not consider my question banal. If there is another way to append data to an already open bug, please let me know what it is, as I don't see any other way to respond than to re-open the bug again as I am doing now.

Where can I find concise documentation that describes in detail stable branches, branch releases etc. Maybe if that's documented somewhere, I wouldn't have to re-open bugs to add 'banal' comments.

I will repeat myself. Please, DO NOT, reopen the bug to ask questions. Either use the mailing lists or IRC. Thank you.
