Description: | The patch (attached) adds a "send text" command to the Asterisk Manager. I use this capability to monitor conferences, and send status messages (e.g. enter/leave events) to phones that can receive text messages. The ability to send text already exists in AGI, this patch add the capability to the manager as well. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** (none) | ||
Comments: | By: Serge Vecher (serge-v) 2006-06-12 13:18:10 suhler, what do you think of an implementation that has been in the bug-tracker (although not in trunk) for a while? See the related bug. By: Stephen Uhler (suhler) 2006-06-12 15:26:30 My implementation appears to be equivalent to 0006131 (I don't know why I didn't find 0006131 when I searched for this issue). The only non trivial difference is the command parameters: I chose "value" as is already exists as a parameter in other manager commands, whereas "message" is new.
