Description:I have a issue on a machine that has a lot of messages logged (in this case about 6 messages/second). If you do a "logger reload" via asterisk -rx fast after another (like logrotate does if you have two entries for different logfiles) asterisk blocks after the second reload, meaning that the process still lives and you could connect with asterisk -r but only the disclaimer is displayed. Connection via the manager interface is not possible at this point.

I have tried to reproduce it. At the first try I was able to reproduce it by executing asterisk -rx commands fast after another on the shell, at this time asterisk was running for about an hour. The next tries with strace attached to the process for debugging did not result in a blocking.

I will go on trying to get traces.

Sorry, I think I didn't look hard enough before filing this bug. It seems that

ASTERISK-7007

already describes the same situation.

Sorry, again.
