Description: | It would be useful for redundancy purposes if one could configure multiple bind addresses to be used for SIP and apply a priority to them. In the example, bind=24.30.52.3 pri 0 bind=0.0.0.0 pri 1 when Asterisk begins a new SIP 'conversation', it will first try to use the socket bound to 24.30.52.3, if there is one. If there is none (due to that address not being assigned to the system or otherwise) or it fails, then try to use the generic 0.0.0.0 socket for any other available means of contacting the server. | ||
Comments: | By: Russell Bryant (russell) 2006-04-28 09:15:30 Feature requests like this should *not* be placed on the bug tracker. This is not a discussion forum. It would be much more appropriate to continue discussion of your idea on IRC or on the asterisk-dev mailing list. |
