Description:I would like to access all Asterisk features and internal (vs PSTN) extensions with the '*' prefix. When I try to use *70 for parkext and *71-*79 for parkpos I get an error message: "Format for parking positions is a-b, where a and b are numbers at line 7 of parking.conf".

Looks like the extensions for call parking are restricted to numeric only and do not support * or # which should be valid dialed digits. I consider this a bug!

Please read bug guide lines before posting a "major bug" thanks

Did that. The issue causes unexpected behaviour.

It took a significant amount of time and finally browsing the sources to realize why meetme does not work with a dial pattern, a leading asterisk. I had not been able to find anything documented that states meetme is or should be restricted to integer only rather then a valid extension.

Are you sure you can't specify *70 for parkext?

The patch fixes "not documented" issue. Disclaimer is on file.

Any bounty for that feature if implemented?

Parking positions has to be numeric due to the internal architecture of parking, we need to be able to increment the position. However, by using your dialplan, you can add any extension you want and then from that goto to the parking position.

Fixed documentation in svn 1.2 and trunk.
