Description: | Call Pickup with *8 does not check callgroup & pickupgroup settings. It simply answers any ringing extension. In my test I placed; extension A in pickupgroup=1 and callgroup=1 extension B in pickupgroup=2 and callgroup=2 extension C in pickupgroup=3 and callgroup=3 When calling from extension A to B, I can still pickup the call using *8 at extension C ?? Even if I remove callpickup and callgroup setting in sip.conf from the devices I can still pickup the extension?? I've checked bugtracker but couldn't find any existing bug-report, which I found hard to believe?? I this bug really happening to everyone or just me? ****** STEPS TO REPRODUCE ****** Create simple sip.conf with 3 extensions all of which are in a different callgroup and pickupgroup. Place call from 1 extension to another and then try to pickup the call from the third extension. | ||

I had a Dial cmd that included more than one SIP-device (SIP/100&SIP101) One of the other SIP-Devices turned out to be in other callgroups. Even when I created a test-system I copied this fault into this system. Stupid me! Case may be closed!! By: Joshua C.
