Description: | I'm running Asterisk 1.2.5 with one Wildcard TE205P (as E1). After upgrade from 1.0.9 there're several reports of call dropping, unfortunatelly in random way. As far as I can say it seems that the calldrop happens in these conditions: * call goes thru zaptel, SIP-SIP calls don't drop * call drops happen only in high load hours (ie. 36 simultaneous calls) Is this a known issue or I'm just out of luck? The behavior changed after upgrade - was there some major change in chan_zap? I'd like to give you with some log records, unfortunatelly Asterisk logging sucks so I'm unable to find anything reasonable. :-( | ||
Comments: | By: Joshua C. Colp (jcolp) 2006-03-20 11:16:19.000-0600 Of course major things changed from 1.0.9 to 1.2.5, they are over a year apart ;) but anyway, if you could provide at the very least some console output with debug and high verbosity turned on that would be good. Hard to debug something when you have nothing to look at. By: Mr. Zdeeck (mr_zdeeck) 2006-03-20 21:58:20.000-0600 I've found the stuff causing the problem. Read this post: http://forums.digium.com/viewtopic.php?p=15702&sid=3e973defb901336fd44a609075c3fd4f It says everything. Hopefully somebody will fix it in the main tree. Z. By: Tilghman Lesher (tilghman) 2006-03-20 23:34:29.000-0600 Are you using busydetect=yes in zapata.conf? Please upload the files zaptel.conf and zapata.conf to the file upload area. By: Mr. Zdeeck (mr_zdeeck) 2006-03-21 05:03:27.000-0600 No, I'm not using busydetect=yes. I've attached those files You mentioned... By: paradise (paradise) 2006-03-21 13:33:17.000-0600 i have the same problem with two different boxes, one with TDM400B and the other with TE405P. By: rafael (rafael) 2006-03-21 15:21:32.000-0600 I have attached hangup.txt which includes extracts from my log files while I was experiencing the problem. If I can be of any further assistance, please let me know. -Rafael By: Serge Vecher (serge-v) 2006-05-01 16:07:03 Mr_Zdeeck: are you able to produce a console log at the time the problem occurs? rafael: from you log, it seems like there is a hardware issue -- please contact Digium Technical Support at support@digium.com By: Serge Vecher (serge-v) 2006-05-09 10:23:58 No response from original reporter. Mr_Zdeeck, if you are able to reproduce this issue with the most recent 1.2 code, please reopen the bug with updated console log please. Thanks. |
