Description:In all too many cases, while I am on a conference call (outside of Asterisk), I need to put the call on hold and answer another call.  This, then, plays my hold music into the conference, which is very disruptive.  Yes, there are workarounds, like parking the conference call instead of placing on hold, but these are not convenient.

The simple ability for a person on hold to be able to stop the music, whether it be for disruption or simply because he doesn't like the music, would be a great boon.

****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ******

I don't see why this couldn't simply be part of the features.conf applicationmap, but when I tried doing so with:

mohoffc => *9,caller,StopMusicOnHold
mohoffr => *9,callee,StopMusicOnHold

It does not actually stop the music on hold.  I see the event in the CLI:
Feature Found: mohoffr exten: mohoffr

but nothing happens, least of all the music stopping.

Perhaps there is a different way to do this?
