Description: | Hi, I would really like to see the following in one of the future versions of Asterisk. When handing a caller into a queue with some set Vars as ${CUSTID}=12345 I would like to be able to still have these vars available when the caller leaves the queue and is forwarded to an Agent. It would also be nice to be able to save which agent got the call... I think this would be a great feature for Call Centers etc... Maybe there is a other way to do what I'd like to have, if so, I'd appreciate any suggestions... Thank you for your time Regards Kristian Marcroft | ||

By: Kristian Marcroft (kris) 2006-01-23 14:20:54.000-0600 No, as a new Channel is created when the Caller is passed to the Agent the vars are not available when the caller is passed to an Agent. Maybe I have missed something though. By: Russell Bryant (russell) 2006-01-23 15:13:53.000-0600 I'm closing this out since we already support variable inheritance using a single underscore '_' for single inheritance, and a double underscore '__' for multiple inheritance. Thanks! |
