Description: | app_vociemail support multi-langual greetings: you just have to put non-english greetings in a directory with the language name. My feature request is to allow users to record greetings in other languages by themselves and without sysadmin help. For example, users normally dial 8500 to check their voicemail and record their greetings. Users could dial 8509 to do the same, but with language='fr' set. They will hear French prompts (if available). If they record a greeting, it will be saved to the 'fr' sub-folder. | ||
Comments: | By: Clod Patry (junky) 2006-01-01 09:20:57.000-0600 So a person x could record y greeting msgs (in many languages), and depending on the channel language when u get a call, that will use these specific greeting right? By: Geoff Oakham (goakham) 2006-01-03 08:25:46.000-0600 Correct. Asterisk allready does the last part (plays a greeting in the appropriate language, if available), so it's just the recording part that needs to be fixed. By: Olle Johansson (oej) 2006-01-04 05:49:21.000-0600 Can't you do this with record and dialplan functions? By: Olle Johansson (oej) 2006-01-30 14:15:23.000-0600 Closing this feature request. Will re-open if we get some code to test. |
