Comments: | By: Tilghman Lesher (tilghman) 2005-11-13 17:57:44.000-0600 If it's dumping a core, please get a backtrace from the core file, as shown in the instructions. We need a backtrace to be able to diagnose where the cause is. By: Clod Patry (junky) 2005-11-13 20:09:17.000-0600 Plus, which specific * version? which cli.c Rev? We have a field for the version, that would be great if you can fillup correctly a bug, when you report a bug. Just that small info can't really help us. Just do what corydon said, and we'll take a look. Thanks for the report. By: Olaf Bellstedt (olafbellstedt) 2005-11-13 20:33:59.000-0600 It seems straight forward to me on how to reproduce the bug. This is the first time I reported a bug, since it seems to be a very serious one. Please point me to the instructions you are refering to. This bug is present in the current CVS head and 1.2.x. By: Clod Patry (junky) 2005-11-13 20:59:16.000-0600 take a look at README.backtrace, probably located in /usr/src/asterisk/doc/ ) By: Olaf Bellstedt (olafbellstedt) 2005-11-13 21:14:11.000-0600 Well, in trying to figure out how to reproduce this every time and getting the necessary info, I found what causes the problem. The crash only occurs when the chan_ooh323.so module is loaded. When I take this out, repeated reloads work fine. So, this is not a serious bug after all in asterisk itself. It seems to be a bug in the ooh323 module. Thanks for the info and if you would like you can close this issue or at least reduce the severity. By: Tilghman Lesher (tilghman) 2005-11-13 21:41:07.000-0600 Severity is fine. This bug has been assigned to the developer responsible for ooh323 By: Olle Johansson (oej) 2006-01-05 02:28:06.000-0600 Does this bug still exist in svn trunk? /Housekeeping By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2006-01-07 16:46:11.000-0600 Gentlemen, I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in being able to resolve this issue. Thanks! By: Objective Systems (objsys) 2006-01-11 12:31:57.000-0600 We are aware of the issue and have reproduced it. A fix is expected within a few days. By: Objective Systems (objsys) 2006-01-19 14:01:25.000-0600 We have fixed this problem. Please update to asterisk-addons trunk vesion, to get the patch. Avin Patel |
