Description: | The asterisk tar archives contain the Music on Hold files licenced from FreePlayMusic. The asterisk tar archives are licenced for copying, distribution and modification under the terms of the GPL. The FreePlayMusic are only licensed ONLY for use as hold music within an Asterisk based PBX, and is thus incompatible with the GPL asterisk tar archive. Comments: | By: Tilghman Lesher (tilghman) 2005-11-09 17:29:56.000-0600 That's entirely a Debian issue, not for Asterisk. Debian is perfectly free to repackage however they like, but Digium already has exceptions in their license for certain packages, and the FPM music is one of those exceptions. |
