Description:When trying to set up a call between two Cisco 7960 IP (SIP) phones asterisk will crash when trying to natively bridge the call.

One SIP phone is configured for "preferred_codec: g711ulaw" and the other is configured for "preferred_codec: g729a".

[g729a]--------[asterisk]----------[g711u]
  ----------- calling -------------->

When both phones are configured for g711ulaw the call goes through and Asterisk will not crash.

****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ******

More information to follow.  Need to add "debug sip" output.

I would like some help on how I can get a stack track of asterisk when the crash occurs as I dont get error crash messages (it silently dies).

You can read the /usr/src/asterisk/doc/README.backtrace from HEAD version.

Also, can you please test CVS Head to see if this behavior occours there.  Minimally we need a full verbose\sip debug output, and a bt full from the core file.  Due to the bug report being incomplete, I am going to suspended it until you have all the information required in the bug guidelines.  Please re-open the bug when you have that information availaible.  If you are still having issues generating this information, you can usually find help in #asterisk-bugs on irc.
