Description: | As I did for the zaptel makefiles, here is a patch that makes asterisk a bit more easier to use in cross-compiling environments. Idea is to provide make with a CC (coule be plain gcc, or ppc_85xx-gcc for a powerpc target) and a staging point where to put things. The Makefiles had almost this, DESTDIR has to be used a bit more and there is a need to get rid of things like "uname -m" etc which depends on host machine to be same as target machine. This is work in progress and could probably be made even more generalized. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** I should probably also make this patch against CVS HEAD as the notes said for my zaptel patch, i figured it was safest to get this in until I've fixed such though. :-) | ||
