Description: | When calling from another asterisk server, the voicemail stops recording one minute into the message (maxmessage is set to 180). ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** Bug happens with: device->SIP->AsteriskServer(CVS-Stable)->SIP->VoicemailServer(CVS-Stable) - If the calling device is directly connected to the server, there is no problem reaching the 180 seconds. device->SIP->VoicemailServer(CVS-Stable) - Tried the same setup with another asteirsk server (running 0.9) and it keeps going after 1 minute without any problem. device->SIP->AsteriskServer(CVS-Stable)->VoicemailServer(0.9) | ||
Comments: | By: noprogrammer (noprogrammer) 2005-08-02 15:02:18 I have experienced this as well. If I set the canreinvite to no on the forwarding server it appears to work. Is it possible this is related to the rtptimeout of 60 seconds. By: Benjamin Lawetz (benthos) 2005-08-02 15:35:04 canreinvite was already at no, you might be onto something with rtptimeout, I'll play around a bit with it By: Benjamin Lawetz (benthos) 2005-08-02 15:57:00 You're right, if I changed rtptimeout for the calling servers to more than the maxmessage, it works fine. That solution satisfies me. I don't know about others. I guess the voicemail could send a RTP packet every once in a while as a keep alive? but that just an uninformed idea :-), without any knowledge of the innerworkings By: Michael Jerris (mikej) 2005-08-09 19:45:56 Closed as this is a configuration issue. |
