Description: | When Executing VoiceMailMain , after option 0 (Mailbox OPtions) Then option 4 which should take you to change the password, instead takes you to "Record your temporary Message". There is no way to change the Mailbox Password. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** I have no clue how to determine my version. I did a cvs checkout asterisk, libpri, zaptel on 7/15/05. When I do asterisk -V, all i get is "Asterisk CVS-HEAD", but as far as what verions , I can only assume is 071505 as that is the date I downloaded it. I have another box with version Asterisk 1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC7k , where the applications VoiceMail2 and VoiceMailMain2 exist and work perfectly. The CVS HEAD version does not support VoiceMail2 or VoiceMailMain2. | ||
Comments: | By: Paul Belanger (pabelanger) 2005-07-19 18:01:36 Heh, not sure this is MAJOR. <strike>But I just looked at app_voicemail.c and looks like password is now option 5. I'm going to trace back and see when this was changed.</strike> Looking at http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-pagehistory.php?page=Asterisk+cmd+VoiceMailMain&diff2=18 seems it was changed back in Dec. 2004. A new feature I guess. By: Paul Belanger (pabelanger) 2005-07-19 18:15:24 Here is the change, back in November (http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-cvs/2004-November/004130.html). Personally they should have added it as option 5, rather then breaking compatibility from 1.0. Meh. By: Paul Belanger (pabelanger) 2005-07-19 18:23:00 Ok, added patch for you to use. Changes password back to option 4, and temporary message to 5. This changes things back to how 1.0 works. File Disclamed. By: Kevin P. Fleming (kpfleming) 2005-07-19 19:33:14 I think you are mistaken; it's possible that your system has old sound files installed. On my system, the voice prompt exactly matches the options in app_voicemail. |
