Description: | I have the WIP 5000 phone. I can send text messages to it with SendText() no problem. However, when I use the "Write msg" feature on the phone to send a text message from the phone to another phone asterisk responds with "405 method not allowed" and the phone says Failed... ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** I am trying to send from a WIp 5000 which receives text messages and sending to another WIP 5000 and I get the 405 message. | ||

By: geisj (geisj) 2005-05-23 10:20:00 I did a "sip debug ip ADDRESS" and capture the attached ouput. By: Olle Johansson (oej) 2005-05-23 12:14:29 Check our headers, MESSAGE is not a supported method by Asterisk right now, interestingly enough. We should propably add it at some point. By: Olle Johansson (oej) 2005-05-23 12:15:20 Closing this issue, since it is not a bug, more an unsupported feature. If you need it, find a programmer to contract or develop yourself. When there is a patch, we can re-open this issue. |
