Description: | I haven't been getting all the updates to a bug I've opened. I get status changes only. It's really strange. Someone could post a comment about the bug, and I'd never know it unless I poll the bug frequently. I **USED** to get emails notifying me of added comments. What gives? ****** STEPS TO REPRODUCE ****** Have someone just post a comment to a bug you opened. Do **YOU** get email notification? I don't. At least, not on bug 2058. | ||
Comments: | By: C F (shmaltz) 2005-05-05 21:15:32 I have noticed another thing which might be related, I was not able to browse without first logging in. I used to be able to browse even if I didn't log in. By: Clod Patry (junky) 2005-05-05 23:22:19 Concerning that bug, i think it's just cause the mail server is slow, cause i receive my mails without problems. It's true it's slow sometimes, but im getting it at a moment or another. Concerning shmaltz's note, see ASTERISK-4089. By: Russell Bryant (russell) 2005-05-06 02:54:42 It's a new version of Mantis, folks. As for viewing bugs without being logged in, I would consider that a feature. I would vote to leave it that way. Anyway, there is another issue open discussion this. By: Matt Brooks (mbrooks) 2005-05-06 16:24:54 Apparently you have to mark yourself to monitor the bug in order to get emails. By: Matthew Nicholson (mnicholson) 2005-05-19 15:01:26 Can this be closed now? By: Michael Jerris (mikej) 2005-05-19 15:04:32 2 issues: 1.Can we set it by default for the reporter to monitor the bug, this would simplify having to send reminders as much. 2.Can we enable a filter to show only bugs with attachments marked as requiring code review, without any failures recorded (patch ready) this would allow a more automatic way to see things that are either ready for review or commit through the haze. By: Steve Murphy (murf) 2005-05-19 15:28:19 I suppose so. If this didn't trigger an "Oh, Yeah! I forgot to..." on the part of the web site maintainer, then it's beating an already dead horse. Close it if you want. By: Clod Patry (junky) 2005-05-25 19:28:02 I think we can close that one since it seems to be fine now. By: Michael Jerris (mikej) 2005-05-25 19:33:06 I'm the only one complaining so oh well... By: Matt Brooks (mbrooks) 2005-05-27 09:57:49 Finally Fixed, Sorry it took me so long to get this fixed. |
