Description:Using a multitech MVP810 8 port fxo sip gateway

the multitech does not properly report caller id information, it puts a " at the beginning of the caller id name, but does not at the end of the name.  Asterisk figures this out without any issues, except when the caller id name contains a , (comma) so I guess its unable to parse the info correctly.  Asterisk never responds to the multitech's packet containing this information and after 10 seconds the multitech times out the call and hangs up.

workaround for now has been to disable caller id on the multitech.

This is not a major bug, as per the bug guidelines.  Also, I fail to see how this is a bug in Asterisk at all, given that you've shown how the unit you're using is CLEARLY out of spec with the SIP protocol.
