Description:Meetme does not recognize correctly the DTMF entries from commercial VoIP users (Vonage, Packet8, InPhonex, etc). It always misses (randomly) some of the digits when users enter the conference code. It works just fine if users are using a regular phone.

****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ******

I know these companies use DTMF inband (instead of rfc2833). I wasn't sure what portion of Asterisk was responsible for decoding the DTMF entries so I decided to get call from my InPhonex account to the a voice mail @ Asterisk. It worked just fine (could get the voice mail box and password). Using my same InPhonex account, Meetme does not recognize the DTMF codes properly - typically miss two or more digits, even if I type the digits very slowly.
I'm using a Dell PIV server with a TE405 card from Digium. The TE405 receives two PRI T1 circuits, one from Verizon another goes to our Fujitsu 9600 PBX. I have a Cisco 7940 SIP phone that I've used to make outside calls (Asterisk as the gateway). I changed the sip config so that it uses inband dtmf instead of rfc2833 and if I call the outside number (Verizon DID), Meetme recognize the conference code properly - meaning this problem only happens with commercial VoIP users (Vonage, etc).
I've used Asterisk 1.0.6 and 1.0.7 with the same results.
I have tried relaxdtmf=yes on zapata.conf but doesn't make any difference. I've also played with rxgain to reduce/increase the signal hoping that the signal would be too strong or weak but made no difference.
Can you help? Please let me know if you need any further information. BTW, this is a test system, I can make modification anytime.
Thanks!

Say what? Then how would I enter the meetme conf number and the conference password?

Is this bug against CVS HEAD or stable? You listed it as version 1.0.7, which is not CVS HEAD.

If you are having trouble receiving DTMF via a Digium interface card (which it seems that you are), then you can open a trouble ticket with Digium technical support and they can help you resolve it.

This is a technical support issue.
