| Description: | Asterisk runs fine. before april or March. After around April 2 my box crashes spontaneaously especially when i run ethereal. I't doesn't matter whether the system is running alot of programs or not. Or if my load avereage is high or low. If Asterisk is running the box will just freeze up. It will freeze within 10 minutes if running ethereal. Can't ping can't do anything. The next couse of action would be to reboot. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** does not need ethereal but it may take a while. definately will crash box with ethereal. ethereal alone will not crash box... | ||

Fleming (kpfleming) 2005-04-21 21:42:35 Yeah, there is really nothing we can do to help you without some sort of information... just a "freeze" gives us nothing to look at. Please get on IRC and ask a bug marshal to teach you how to set up your Asterisk installation for debugging, then be prepared to run gdb and get a backtrace the next time the crash occurs. Once you have that, you can open a new bug and we can try to solve the problem. | ||
