Description: | I've found several undocumented variables in Asterisk source code. This patch rearranges README.variables and adds quite a lot of variables. Some of them have either ??? or simply no explanation. Please help me explain these! Disclaimer on file | ||
Comments: | By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2005-02-07 16:19:14.000-0600 If you're doing that extreme of updates, you should probably update (and test) all the examples with app(data, args) format instead of app, data|args format. By: Tilghman Lesher (tilghman) 2005-02-07 18:30:49.000-0600 You might want to check out a fresh copy of CVS. Some of the variables in here are not correct; for example, AUTH_MAILBOX, not VM_AUTH_MAILBOX. Also, you need to additionally specify which variables are 1) not settable, 2) read by, but not set by, a channel, or 3) Set by, but not read by, a channel (i.e. changing the variable does not change the behavior of the channel). (ie, Code 29 identifies call as a Prison/Inmate Call) By: Olle Johansson (oej) 2005-02-08 01:34:56.000-0600 twisted: Thank you for contributing! Corydon76: I will continue checking those issues later, this time I'm merely moving the list to the end and try to make the list in the current format more complete than before. Thank you for the corrections. By: Olle Johansson (oej) 2005-02-08 02:04:50.000-0600 markster: Can you please help me by explaining the OSP and ZAP variables that lack explanation? By: Tilghman Lesher (tilghman) 2005-02-08 12:25:52.000-0600 I also note that you haven't gotten all the variables, either. CALLEDTON is the type of number (i.e. 0=unknown, 1=international, 2=domestic, 3=net_specific, 4=subscriber, 6=abbreviated, 7=reserved) for an incoming PRI EXTEN.
