Description: | This is more of an anoyance than anything and it shouldn't be doing this. If you load any T1/E1 board drivers but don't configure a span line in zaptel.conf and call your box via IAX it will be unable to play audio. | ||
Comments: | By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2004-12-22 21:34:44.000-0600 The performance penalty of checking for an active span on every open of /dev/zap/pseudo is not worth it. Perhaps we could add a zap check at the beginning of Asterisk which would open /dev/zap/pesudo and try to wait up to 100ms for some data to be there and then print a warning if it isn't. If you like that idea, feel free to create a patch and submit. Thanks! |
