Description: | prety much as the title says, using res_odbc, extconfig, with mysql. i can setup sip accounts in the db and works fine, but if i even have one register entry in sip.conf asterisk coredumps. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** its easy to replicate, just setup asterisk with extconfig and add a register line to sip.conf. if i take out either the register line or comment out sipfriends entry in extconfig.conf it doest die. users can register to the server fine. | ||

Thanks, Brian edited on: 12-17-04 13:44 By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2004-12-18 09:06:43.000-0600 Also can you confirm if you're doing "realtime" or if you're doing the static one where you still have to execute a reload? Thanks. By: delvar (delvar) 2004-12-20 04:48:19.000-0600 there it is, yes its the realtime stuff, using sipfriends. im not realy interested in the static config so so far i have not tested it. By: delvar (delvar) 2004-12-20 04:57:13.000-0600 oops wrong backtrace, can someone remove it and ill post the proper one. By: delvar (delvar) 2004-12-20 05:04:45.000-0600 ok now THAT is the real backtrace (backtrace02.txt) :), its monday morning and my brain isnt on yet :) By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2004-12-20 18:43:00.000-0600 try: noload => res_config_mysql.so in your /etc/asterisk/modules.conf It appears that the two modules are conflicting. By: ennuyeux72 (ennuyeux72) 2004-12-21 12:58:49.000-0600 can one of the bug marshall remove the erroneous file backtrace01.txt as the bug submitter has asked please. By: Russell Bryant (russell) 2004-12-21 14:19:27.000-0600 Delvar, I accidently deleted the backtrace you intended to keep. I'm sorry about that. By: delvar (delvar) 2004-12-22 05:43:22.000-0600 thanks, the noload => res_config_mysql.so stopped the core dump. i had a core dump later but i dont know if it was related, if it hapens again ill post it. you can close this bug. thanks for your help guys. By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2004-12-24 04:01:05.000-0600 I added some documentation in the README for res_config_mysql to explain this incompatibility. |
