Description:NAT=yes and asterisk is sending out private ip address in the contact header. I'm having asterisk 2 asterisk registration problem.

That's not what the NAT option does.  You have a configuration issue, please do not use the bug tracker for configuration issues.

ok well, externip and localnet are set.
Contact header should be like this Contact: <sip:sergio@externip> or Contact: <sip:sergio@fromdomain> right?

I said this is a configuration issue.  Do not place configuration issues in the bug tracker!  If you think it isn't a configuration issue, go get help in #asterisk and get a bug marshall to reopen the bug.
