Environment:Attachments:( 0) chan_mgcp.c_mgcpmode-patch
Description:chan_mgcp.c currently only works with the existing rfc definitions rfc2705 and rfc3435 (MGCP version 1.0); it does not allow support for IETF draft (MGCP version 0.1) dated November 9, 1998 or future rfc definitions (MGCP version 1.x or MGCP version 2.x)

Some EOF MGCP devices only support MGCP version 0.1 , ie. cisco ubr924
These devices are not upgradable to newer MGCP version 1.0 or SIP as it appears cisco has EOF these units and all recent IOS releases only support MGCP 0.1

This patch does not add any functionality for MGCP version 0.1, it only allows it to be defined in /etc/asterisk/mgcp.conf

Currently working on another patch to support the cisco ubr924 and MGCP version 0.1

Closed pending complete patch or other interest shown.  We tend to stick to rfc / current rfc unless there is a fairly high demand for non-rfc operation.
