I could dedicate one engineer for this project as several of my customers demand these features. oej, is it possible to apply for write access on asterisk cvs tree?

As always in Open Source, you have to prove yourself. Add patches to this bug report and if many people agree with you, as well as the core maintainers, the patch will be incorporated into Asterisk.

Looking at what you want to do, it's best to start with looking at the channels, how and where the data you need is collected into channel structures, which then is the basis for a CDR.

If you want to discuss this, join developers on IRC in #asterisk-dev

...and Thank You for wanting to contribute to Asterisk. I am sure we can solve this in a good way!

Closing bug. Will re-open when we have patches. If you want to discuss this, use the asterisk-dev list or the #asterisk-dev channel on IRC. I think a lot of people may join you in the effort.
