Description:Users unable to make outbound calls through X100P.  I have about 50,000 single line /var/log/asterisk/messages.* that say: "WARNING[360462] We're Zap/2-1, not Zap/5-1" or "We're Zap/2-1 not " and "WARNING[81926]: Unable to create channel" along with an approx 2GB files with the same lines.  Inbound calls just ring and never go to VM.  Reboot clears for a while.  I reboot every night, so this happens in less than a 24 hour timespan.

Find me on IRC.  This is an extremely bizarre and improbable bug. Are you using modified Asterisk sources?

By: kingofthemoles (kingofthemoles) 2004-07-09 07:22:44

IRC is firewalled here, any other way I can contact you?
No modified sources.

Looking into the call log, both times it happened this week it looks like the channel was never released at the end of the call:

"","2","99675658","default","""Second Floor"" <2>","Zap/2-1","Zap/5-1","Dial","Zap/5/9675658","2004-07-05 18:42:50","2004-07-05 18:43:02","2004-07-06 03:01:40",29930,29918,"ANSWERED","DOCUMENTATION"
(I reboot at 3:00am)

"","1","91","default","""First Floor"" <1>","Zap/1-1","","Congestion","","2004-07-08 12:31:41",,"2004-07-08 13:10:25",2324,0,"NO ANSWER","DOCUMENTATION"
(I manually rebooted at 13:10)

You will need to find me on IRC somehow, and I will almost certainly need ssh access to the machine.  You may have trouble finding me before 7/12 as well since I am currently still in Paris.

Gentle reminder from housekeeping. Is there any way you can reach markster to work on this bug?

You can close this.  After happening twice the previous week, it did not re-occur last week.  I will re-open if I need to.

Closing on reporter's request.
