Description: | I realise that this is a known issue with several work arounds, however I can't get it to work on my Redhat FC2 2.6.6 system no matter what I try.. Is there a solution, or should I go to an earlier version of Redhat.. Comments: | By: twisted (twisted) 2004-06-24 13:08:00 This is not a crash, reassigning to 'major' as appropriate. 2.6.6 has a few bugs in zaptel, and is not fully supported. Make sure your proper (RUNNING) kernel version source tree is linked to /usr/src/linux, make sure you have the correct modutils package (i'm sure you do in fc2), and try running make with options linux26 in zaptel, eg: # make linux26 By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2004-06-25 09:40:35 This is not a bug, it's just a kernel compiliation issue at your end If you've using Asterisk with Digium hardware, you can call Digium tech support and they'll help you. |
