This is actually related to 1771.  Please cvs update.  I think this may just be a set of missing locks around the generator allocation.

Have you had any more crashes with latest CVS head?

Nothing as of yet. We only had this deadlock after around a week's usage of *.

I'm calling this one fixed, you can reopen if it's not.

bonbon tells me he still seems to have a problem with this.

The things he tells me look similar to something i had 2 times last week at a customer.

Asterisk not accepting new calls, and SHOW CHANNELS showing a call with only one endpoint, i have a suspicion it has to do with transfering calls.

Did not have time for a backtrace, but i suppose it will happen again.
(I'm not even sure this is the same, since i don't have any other debugging info or backtraces yet, i'm not opening a new bug for this one (yet?)).

I gave bonbon my contact information and told him to contact me upon the event of a deadlock.  If you don't have a backtrace there's nor eason to suspect this is even remotely the same deadlock.  I will have to have access, period.  I will have to be able to attach gdb and get a back trace, period.  I will have to be able to evaluate the state of the channels *myself* *on the box*.
