Description: | This is relayed from a user at FWD. When doing proxy authentication on INIVITE, the called number is used for auth instead of the username. The CVS version used was /chan_sip.c/1.292.2.27/Thu May 6 22:44:43 2004//Tv1-0_stable which is the latest at least as of yesterday. Current devel CVS fixed the problem. But there may be other users who have the same problem? ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** (NAT) to 192.246.69.223:5060 We're at my-external-ip port 10746 Answering/Requesting with root capability 4 Answering/Requesting with preferred capability 4 Answering/Requesting with preferred capability 8 Answering/Requesting with preferred capability 2 Reliably Transmitting: INVITE sip:55555@fwd.pulver.com SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP my-external-ip:5060;branch=z9hG4bK32861f99 From: "Me" <sip:my-fwd-no@fwd.pulver.com>;tag=as06b58884 To: <sip:55555@fwd.pulver.com> Contact: <sip:my-fwd-no@my-external-ip> Call-ID: 10b2033346694239434f14d93b24b1a1@my-external-ip CSeq: 104 INVITE User-Agent: Asterisk PBX Proxy-Authorization: Digest username="55555", realm="fwd.pulver.com", algorithm= "MD5", uri="sip:55555@fwd.pulver.com", nonce="409fb5dfcf0b735111702f3ee126e6649c 3397a4", response="edd88296c45cd0bf4992d445169919ac", opaque="" Date: Mon, 10 May 2004 17:01:11 GMT Allow: INVITE, ACK, CANCEL, OPTIONS, BYE, REFER Content-Type: application/sdp Content-Length: 231 May 10 17:59:00 NOTICE[311315]: chan_sip.c:5245 handle_response: Failed to authenticate on INVITE to '"Me" <sip:my-fwd-no@fwd.pulver.com>;tag=as1551f40f' | ||
Comments: | By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2004-05-11 19:59:41 Backporting this change is a big mess, so just stick with CVS head if you want it to work properly. |
